Preparing for the 2020 Census: Reaching and Counting Everyone in North County

census2020prep3.png

We invite you to attend a planning meeting with community collaborators to start preparing for the 2020 Census to ensure everyone, including Hard-to-Count (HTC) populations, are counted in Census 2020.

RSVP below.

As you know, Census 2020 is happening next year and it’s going to take all of us working together to ensure every person is counted in our community. An accurate census count helps us all.

We are especially concerned with identifying and addressing barriers that prevent specific population subgroups from participating in the census count.

We also want to start mapping where our HTC communities are clustered in each city and in our unincorporated areas based on several different criteria.

If your organization works with any of the groups that are typically HTC, we urge you to join the network of community partners preparing to educate, motivate and mobilize every person to get counted.

For additional information regarding Census 2020 outreach in HTC communities in North County, I can be reached at [email protected].
