The National Latino Research Center (NLRC) at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) announces a series of research presentations of Universidad Popular: Cultivando Liderazgo (People's University: Nurturing Leadership), a study that examines civiv engagement, national service and volunteering behavior among Latinos and Latinas in San Diego County.
The study aims to develop methodological and theoretical innovations to help researchers recognize strengths and understand what factors may increase engagement.
