Our Universidad Popular team, in collaboration with the Western Center for Agricultural Health and Safety (WCAHS) at the University of California Davis, is pleased to invite you to an important training session on how to prevent heat-related illnesses. In this informative session, we will learn about the risks associated with high temperatures and how to protect ourselves and our loved ones during these extreme hot days. The team of education and health experts from WCAHS will be sharing valuable tips and preventive measures to ensure the safety of everyone in our community.
The training will be in Spanish and will take place next Wednesday, July 26, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at our Universidad Popular office, 261 Autumn Dr. Suite 115, San Marcos, CA, 92069, or you can also join through Zoom by clicking HERE.
This is an invaluable opportunity to increase our awareness of the importance of protecting ourselves from the heat and to promote healthier communities. We hope that you can join us! If you have any questions or need more information, please do not hesitate to contact us at 760-659-0109 or by email at [email protected]. Let's stay hydrated, take care of each other, and ensure that everyone is prepared to face the heat safely.
